Terms of Service
These terms govern your purchase and use of Cheeko Gotchi from this store, operated by ALTIO AI PRIVATE LIMITED (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in India. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. The product
Cheeko Gotchi is a programmable electronic companion device. It is early hardware, sold to people who understand and want that. Features described on this site reflect the product as we intend to ship it; specifications published before shipping are pre-production targets and may change.
2. Preorders
Cheeko Gotchi is currently sold as a preorder with an expected ship date of August 2026. Payment is taken at checkout to reserve your unit. The ship date is an estimate, not a guarantee. If it changes we will notify you by email and you may cancel for a full refund. You may cancel a preorder for a full refund at any time before your unit ships.
3. Pricing and payment
All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors; if a pricing error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you before charging or shipping and you may cancel for a full refund.
4. The SDK and your applications
The Cheeko Gotchi SDK is published at https://github.com/ALTIO-AI-PRIVATE-LIMITED/cheeko-gotchi and is governed by the licence stated in that repository. Applications you write for your device are yours. We do not review, endorse, or take responsibility for applications you or third parties write. Modifying firmware or running your own code is expressly permitted, but damage caused by modification is not covered by warranty.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Cheeko Gotchi to record people without their knowledge, to break any law that applies to you, or in any safety-critical role. It is a desk companion. Do not rely on it for medication reminders, medical alerts, emergency notification, or any purpose where failure could cause harm.
6. Warranty and liability
The device carries a 6-month limited warranty as described in our Refund Policy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including data loss or missed reminders. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, nor your statutory consumer rights under Indian law.
7. Intellectual property
The Cheeko Gotchi name, branding, product design, website content and imagery are ours. The SDK is licensed separately as stated in its repository.
8. Privacy
Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published at the time you place your order governs that order.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
